Subevent – in a nutshell…

Subevent started out in 2003 as a webdesign-company inspired by design forerunners such as 2advanced.com.  The name Subevent is derived from an “underlying event” pointing to the typical flash-heavy sites built at the time, where a hover or click on a button often started an event which also could start a sub-event… Quirky? Yeah…a little, but the name stuck and has been the company´s official name ever since. So for those of you looking for an event-fixer, heavier bass or one of those big sandwiches…sorry to disappoint you. In the humble beginnings, hardware support, computer-installation and general IT-educations were also accounted for in the company…

In these 10 years, Subevent has undergone plenty of changes and also a whole bunch of layouts, logos, and ideas that have been born and scrapped… If I ever get the time I´ll put together a gallery of old sites that made it live, almost made it or just ended up on a harddrive somewhere.

Today – Subevent is mainly about photography and graphic design and though the passion for shooting roadracing, long-exposure landscapes as well as wildlife is as strong as ever, the portfolio is ever-growing. One of the strongpoints of Subevent is the ability not only to shoot the images, but to do the editing, tweaking and also the copywriting for advertising, raceteam-marketing as well as write articles.

2013 – Subevent is on the roll and can of course be found on 500px, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and of course on this, newly released site..
